Blue Origin•Space Coast, FL

About The Position

This Fluid Test Engineer role is part of the MK1 Integration and Test team within Blue Origin’s Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops the Blue Moon lunar landers and related products. The role supports the development of sustainable infrastructure for transporting crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface and contributes to the mission of returning humans to the Moon and extending human presence beyond Earth. The engineer applies standard engineering methods to design, plan, model, execute, and interpret tests for aerospace systems and components. The role is responsible for executing and analyzing component, subsystem, and integrated-vehicle tests to verify requirements and validate operational capabilities. The engineer develops, releases, and supports engineering artifacts throughout the development cycle, maintains accurate measurement-data records, and helps provide safe, repeatable, high-quality test capabilities. Testing procedures must meet industry standards. The position is on first shift. The role may require multiple shifts, weekends, and extended hours during critical test operations, as well as travel of 30% during integration and test periods to multiple offsite locations.
