About The Position

Elk Park Animal Hospital is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their longstanding community fixture, which is one of the largest and busiest facilities in the area. The clinic operates five days a week, offering essential services, including on-call and mobile assistance for large animals and emergencies. Their comprehensive services include digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, cutting-edge diagnostics, and a complete pharmacy. They also provide complementary therapies such as Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine. The practice type is mixed animal, with an average daily patient volume of 12 and a support staff ratio of 3:1. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, and dentistry, with a majority of the caseload being small animal.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)

Responsibilities

  • Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of medical systems and team.
  • Provide essential services five days a week.

  • Perform services including digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, cutting-edge diagnostics, and pharmacy services.
  • Utilize complementary therapies such as Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians, dedicated CSRs, and strong leadership.
  • Engage in continuous growth and excellence in patient care.
  • Build long-term client relationships.
  • Educate clients on patient care.
