About The Position

Rubbercraft is seeking a Mix Operator Technician (1st Shift). Rubbercraft (RCC) is a trusted leader in engineered elastomer solutions serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Requirements

High School Graduate or GED equivalent
2+ years working as a mixer in a rubber manufacturing environment.
Read and write English, be able to follow and complete router instructions.
Good eye hand coordination.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
U.S. person as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, as required by U.S. export control laws.

Working knowledge of different mixing mills, safety equipment and applicable tools

Responsibilities

Weigh ingredients as specified by the formula provided by the lab when necessary.
Mix Rubbercraft’s compound formulations according to written instructions and IAW WI 751-19.
Maintain inventory and order ingredients as needed.
Conduct Visual In-process inspection to verify correct weight on ingredients.
Maintain proper formula traceability.
Follow all proper batch release procedures ref. FIFO.
Suggest process and manufacturing improvements when and if insufficiencies exist on Opportunity for Improvements (OFI) forms.
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook or directed by your supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
