About The Position

ByHeart is a nutrition company specializing in infant formula, committed to the highest manufacturing and safety standards. We are expanding operations at our Allerton, Iowa facility and are looking for individuals to help scale our manufacturing of dairy nutrition products. This role is crucial to our growing operations and requires a commitment to quality and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Machine operating experience required
• Able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

• Food manufacturing or infant formula manufacturing preferred
• Familiarity with cGMPs, SOPs, HACCP, or similar quality programs preferred
• Must be self-disciplined, a team player, and able to handle emergency situations
• Combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge will be considered

Responsibilities

• Mix raw materials as required using the formula provided for each product
• Follow batching instructions and record all necessary information on batch control records
• Ensure proper ingredients are used by verifying warehouse batches
• Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) operations
• Maintain records including computer entries, sanitation logs, pre-op logs, and batch tickets
• Correctly follow all production and cleaning procedures as described in SOPs
• Know the location of all raw/packaging materials and finished production within the warehouse
