About The Position

This role involves supporting the dairy production process, specifically focusing on mixing and handling ingredients. The position requires the ability to operate various equipment, including hydration tanks, HTST equipment, and CIP systems. It also involves meticulous cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Must obtain license and operate forklift
• Must demonstrates safe working habits
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours

Responsibilities

• Transfer product using hydration tank hook ups
• Identification and staging of dry dairy and fluid dairy ingredients
• Hydration of powder (dumping of possibly several hundred bags of powder each day, each bag of powder weighs 50 pounds)
• Hooking up lines, tanks, agitators, and sanitizing tanks
• Calculation of slurries using computer
• Cleaning of hydration equipment
• Learning HTST equipment and how it operates
• Learning of all CIP equipment, forklift operation, cleaning of production room
