About The Position

This position is responsible for performing daily start-up and shut-down tasks, stacking product, tracking and tagging pallets, operating equipment, and keeping machines supplied with necessary materials. The role also involves transporting, loading, and unloading pallets of product from trailers, performing minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance, and conducting sensory evaluations on products and ingredients. Additionally, the operator will complete all necessary paperwork and other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Must demonstrate safe work habits
Must be able to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift
Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
Must have the ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
Must be able to use creative thinking for troubleshooting
Must have basic mechanical skills
Must have the ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision
Must possess basic math skills
Must be able to communicate effectively
