About The Position

This position is responsible for selecting product to be loaded, loading and unloading trailers, and completing all necessary paperwork. The operator will also operate a Palletizer, sit down forklift, and clamp truck. They will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and cleaning equipment in their work area. Continuous improvement of the work process, team skills, and technical skills is expected. The role may also involve assisting in all areas of the department when needed and assisting with training new associates at the discretion of leadership.

Requirements

Ability to operate sit down forklift and clamp truck
Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
Ability to pull 180-200 pounds across a slick surface
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours
Continual bending, reaching, pulling, carrying, lifting, and walking
Excellent safety work habits
Ability to read, write and perform basic math
Ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
Willingness to assist other team members in other areas
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Good time-management, problem-solving and analytical skills
High level of maturity, discretion, tact and judgment
Ability to work in a cold environment
Ability to learn all aspects of the cooler
Good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
