About The Position

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a reliable, hardworking Mitigation Technician to help homeowners restore their homes and peace of mind after water, fire, or mold damage. This entry-level role supports customers during difficult situations and offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills, work as part of a team, and make a meaningful impact in the community. The technician performs restoration and cleanup services under supervision and provides empathetic, timely customer communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, pull, push, reach, and stoop for 8–12 or more hours per day.
• Ability to work in potentially extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration and cleanup services under supervision, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and basic demolition.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle and equipment.
• Assist with setting up equipment and temporary structures and preparing materials for removal.
• Clean and care for tools and equipment used on the job.
• Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable by phone as needed.
• Support warehouse and facility tasks when required.
• Communicate empathetically and with a sense of urgency using modern technology.
