About The Position

Paul Davis Restoration is hiring an entry-level Mitigation Technician to help homeowners restore their homes and peace of mind after unexpected damage, including water, fire, or mold damage. The technician performs restoration and cleanup work under supervision, supports customers throughout projects, and works as part of a team. The role includes on-call availability and may involve nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
• Ability to lift 75 or more pounds frequently.
• Ability to work while exposed to potentially extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, pull, push, reach, and stoop for 8–12 or more hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration and cleanup services, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and basic demolition, under supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle and equipment.
• Assist with setting up equipment and temporary structures and preparing materials for removal.
• Clean and care for tools and equipment used on the job.
• Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable by phone as needed.
• Support warehouse and facility tasks when required.
