About The Position

Join the Mission Systems S/4HANA Program Management team as the Sr. Manager, Change Management, in support of the Mission Systems S/4HANA ERP transformation. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies that prepare the Mission Systems workforce for new systems, processes, and operating models as the organization transitions from legacy ERP platforms to SAP S/4HANA. Success in this role requires experience leading change initiatives within complex environments where large-scale system modernization must be coordinated with operational continuity and workforce readiness. This individual may be based at any domestic Mission Systems location or operate remotely.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
  • Experience leading change management initiatives supporting large-scale digital or enterprise system transformations, ideally within ERP environments such as SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience developing enterprise communication strategies for digital transformation programs.
  • Experience designing workforce training programs for large-scale enterprise system deployments.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain information.

  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite; MS Project, Power BI, Articulate/JIRA.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business processes.
  • Experience building change champion networks and driving adoption across large organizations.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and operational changes into clear communications and training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mission Systems change management strategy supporting the S/4HANA ERP transformation.
  • Conduct change impact assessments across functions including operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and program management.
  • Develop structured readiness plans that prepare teams for new systems, processes, and operating models.
  • Identify adoption risks and implement mitigation strategies that support sustained behavioral change.
  • Develop and execute enterprise communication strategies supporting the Mission Systems S/4HANA transformation.
  • Create clear messaging that explains program objectives, deployment milestones, and operational impacts.
  • Support executive leadership communications through leadership briefings, messaging frameworks, and program updates.
  • Establish communication channels that ensure consistent information flow across sites and stakeholder groups.
  • Implement the enterprise training strategies that prepare employees to operate within the S/4HANA environment and applicable boundary applications.
  • Design scalable training programs combining digital learning, instructor-led training, and role-based learning paths.
  • Partner with functional leaders and subject matter experts to translate system and process changes into practical training content and job aids.
  • Ensure training programs support operational readiness across enterprise workstreams including R2R, O2C, S2P, and P2S.
  • Support ERP deployment waves by coordinating training, communications, and change readiness activities across Mission Systems sites.
  • Establish change champion networks to accelerate adoption and provide local readiness support.
  • Monitor adoption of metrics and readiness indicators to identify risks and guide corrective actions.
  • Support post-deployment stabilization activities to reinforce new behaviors and ensure sustained adoption.
  • Develop adoption metrics and dashboards that measure workforce readiness, training effectiveness, and change adoption.
  • Partner with the Collins PST program leadership to ensure change enablement activities remain aligned with transformation milestones.
  • Integrate analytics and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve communications, training programs, and adoption strategies.
