Mission Support Specialist

AIRO Group Holdings, Inc.

About The Position

The Mission Support Specialist at The AIRO Group is a frontline ambassador for the company’s drone solutions, partnering with Sales and Program Management to deliver demonstrations, training, advisory services, and technical support to prospective and existing customers. The role supports customers throughout the full journey, from early engagement and sales through ongoing post-sale relationships. As a subject-matter expert and superuser of the company’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), the specialist helps customers—primarily in defense—operate and use the systems effectively. The role requires operational understanding of UAS deployment environments and the ability to connect technical capabilities with mission needs. It involves building trust and communicating with audiences ranging from operators to senior commanders, both independently and alongside company representatives and national business partners, including in international and operationally complex settings. The specialist supports business development and proposals; engages government and military mission partners; trains, evaluates, and supports UAS operators; manages equipment readiness and logistics; and conveys customer needs to Product Management and R&D. The position may include domestic and international travel and work at training or operational venues. Physical requirements include extended sitting, standing, or walking; manual dexterity and repetitive tasks; bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting; and meeting visual, auditory, communication, and safety requirements of the position.
