About The Position

This position involves preparing court calendars by processing the E-File queue, verifying case details, and adding necessary information for court. During court sessions, the clerk will document proceedings, prepare Orders, and assess case fees. Post-court, the clerk will finalize cases, prepare Judgment & Sentences, and any additional Orders. The role also includes providing backup for First Appearance hearings. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • A valid Florida Driver's License or Florida Identification is required for the hiring process.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with fellow employees and the general public.
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications such as MS Word, MS Outlook, etc. required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fingerprints scanned as part of the hiring process for a criminal background check.
  • Criminal background check results must be cleared.
