General Description: Prior to court, pull driving records and verify case details and information. While in court, record next court dates, prepare court documents and process jail memos. At the completion of court, prepare warrants, scan all court documents to cases and complete Notices to Appear.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • A valid Florida Driver's License or Florida Identification is required for the hiring process.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with fellow employees and the general public.
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications such as MS Word, MS Outlook, etc. required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fingerprints scanned as part of the hiring process for a criminal background check.
  • Criminal background check results that reveal a finding of guilt by a court or jury, an admission of guilt or no contest in any criminal matter regardless of adjudication may result in termination even after probationary time is completed.

  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted at the Clerk’s Office discretion.
