About The Position

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an MIS Business Systems Process & Data Automation Developer, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Arnold, TN. The MIS Business Systems Process & Data Automation Developer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining or supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to occasionally work outside normal business hours. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who will analyze, design, and implement solutions that streamline and improve business processes. This role requires a unique blend of business analysis, process improvement, and hands-on technical implementation skills. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage a dual-platform approach—using both BPLogix Process Director for complex, form-driven workflows and Microsoft Power Automate for rapid system integrations and task automation—to create powerful and efficient solutions. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related technical field, and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business analysis, project management, or systems engineering
  • In lieu of degree, an associate’s degree in a related technical field and a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the same technical fields or A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in the same technical fields
  • Five (5) years of experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Two (2) years of experience working within a government agency, military branch, or federal government contractor environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and maintain authorized user access to the AEDC local area network.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract compliance requirements and the necessity to access secure federal databases and networks on Arnold Air Force Base.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in software or process automation, OR a minimum of four (4) years of experience in general IT systems administration, software development, or database management

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with one or more workflow automation platforms, especially BPLogix Process Director and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Proven ability to manage and facilitate projects with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing Agile and/or Six Sigma lean methodologies.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate these needs into clear technical specifications, designing solutions that leverage the best-fit tool—either BPLogix Process Director for robust, auditable workflows or Power Automate for agile, connector-based automations.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies. Implement and develop optimized and automated low code solutions by building sophisticated applications within Power Apps and creating automated flows and integrations with Power Automate to connect disparate systems and services.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Business Systems. Monitor and refine automated processes on both platforms, leveraging feedback and performance metrics to enhance usability and drive efficiency, applying Agile and Six Sigma lean methodologies where appropriate.
  • Participate in and facilitate cross-functional teams, including contractors, AF/DOD personnel, and customers, to deliver business process automation projects on time. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and successful outcomes.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
