About The Position

The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market, brought to Savannah by Sage Restaurant Concepts and located within Perry Lane Hotel, is seeking a welcoming, creative, and polished Mini Bar Attendant with a heart of service. This role is responsible for providing guests with a fully stocked and well-maintained mini bar. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating magnetic and hospitable memories while taking part in a rewarding work environment. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar position of 3 months or longer.
  • High school graduate level mathematical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of ordering procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of safe food handling processes.
  • Past experience in dealing directly with the public.
  • General knowledge of basic customer service skills.
  • Competent in oral and written English.
  • Vision ability to read written communications and handle paperwork processing.
  • Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
  • Ability to bend to lower level cabinets and lift trays.
  • Mobility to maneuver in narrow areas and between seated guests.
  • Moderate comprehension and literacy to read and use records and all special requests.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly organized and able to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations, particularly when handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

Responsibilities

  • Check and keep track of items that will expire in one month.
  • Make sure that the mini bar is cleaned and free of dust.
  • Clean refrigerator once every 3 months, including taking out all beverages and wiping down the shelf.
  • Wipe down the top of the fridge and both sides to ensure it is free of dust.
  • Clean mini-bar snack tray once every 2 months, taking out all snacks and using a micro-fiber cloth to wipe the tray.
  • Check the temperature of the refrigerator to ensure it is working properly.
  • Restocking and inventory of refreshment center inventory.
  • Accurately charging of guest folios.
  • Complete assigned paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Complete work orders on any deficiencies found in the guest room.
  • Keep guest room secure at all times.
  • Clear all soiled In Room Dining Trays from rooms to the elevator landing and bring them to the dish pit.
