About The Position
Linwood Mining and Minerals Corporation is seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and safety-oriented applicant for the Mine Production Trainee role in their Quarry Operations. This is a temporary opportunity supporting operations for an undetermined period, with the potential for future long-term opportunities for the right candidate. Trainees will help keep quarry operations running smoothly by ensuring proper clean-up and flow of product through both physical and machine-driven work. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Enjoyment of manual, physical work and being outdoors
- Comfortable using basic tools, such as a shovel
- Team player mentality
- Flexibility
Responsibilities
- Helping to keep the quarry operations running smoothly by ensuring proper clean-up and flow of product through both physical and machine-driven work.
- Operating equipment such as a skidsteer, loader or haul truck.
