Requirements

  • An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Nursing, Health Education or related field
  • or 2 years of equivalent experience in Health, Wellness, public health services
  • An ability to assess the community from a strengths perspective
  • Ability to work with a variety of people using strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrative health programming and protocols to benefit the AWARE Service Lines and their members to include yoga, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, self-care practices and health and wellness
  • Provide a minimum of 10 hours per week of member individuals/ group session to assigned caseload
  • Travel to all AWARE regions on a consistent basis to offer integrative health workshops/ sessions to clients/ members.
  • Provide intake/ screening for new referrals for enrollment into integrative health services
  • Provide recommendations with measurable goals, objectives, and interventions for the inclusion into the member treatment plan
  • Document all effects of member services provided in EHR in a timely manner
  • Consult with treatment teams on member progress as well as take part in treatment planning of referred members.
  • Ensure all professional certifications are maintained in providing integrative health interventions.
  • Assess and analyze risk and contraindications of member associated with member health, medical and/or diagnosis prior to implementation of integrative health practices
  • Provide consultation and training within AWARE and potential community organizations for individual development and wellbeing as well as the promotion of work, life balance
  • In collaboration with Service Director, develops project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures. Ensures that all project development plans and activities are executed and aligned with AWARE's values, mission, vision, and strategy
  • Perform other duties as assigned and reasonably within the scope of the duties listed above
