About The Position

C & B Operations is seeking a Parts Specialist for their Billings, Montana location. This role is responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude, ready to meet the ongoing needs of customers. This position offers potential for outside sales development and participation in an on-call rotation during seasonal hours.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice To Haves

• Prior parts sales experience
• John Deere equipment knowledge
• Ability to operate a forklift

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
