Requirements

  • Certified/Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A).
  • Five years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or an industrial environment.
  • Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job.
  • Must be able to analyze, repair, and troubleshoot machinery such as: Heavy tamping presses, Robotic welding assembly lines, Conveyors, and other Hydraulic Systems.
  • Very good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics circuit and able to interpret hydraulic and pneumatics drawings.
  • Must be able to weld and fabricate as required.
  • Hands on with power tools.
  • Has good interpersonal and communication skills and is results oriented.
  • Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies, Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and their associated components.
  • Design, modify, and update related schematics.
  • Optimization of machine functionality for uptime, cycle time, and energy conservation.
  • Build new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.
  • Troubleshoots active and new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.
  • Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment, processes, and PM system.
  • Meets schedules set by Maintenance Team leaders.
  • Trains apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment, repair, and safety.
  • Work within the guidelines of the Karmax Employee Handbook, Assist the maintenance department PM activity.
  • IATF16949 & ISO14001 awareness and adherence.
  • Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence.
  • Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies and within the guidelines of the Karmax Employee Handbook.
  • Filling out daily shift reports.
  • Services, maintains, repairs, installs and tests new or existing equipment and verifies conformance to specifications.
  • Accepts personal responsibility to plan and conduct their work safely in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as company policies and guidelines.
  • Responsible for Good House Keeping in your area.
  • Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence
  • Other duties as may be required.
