The Millwright Maintenance Technician position is accountable for understanding and putting into practice the INEOS 20 Principles. This role requires the ability to safely work in a complex mechanical facility processing large quantities of flammable materials. The technician will participate in behavior-based safety processes and follow standard procedures to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and high-quality work. Key responsibilities include measuring mechanical parameters, comparing them to standards, and returning equipment to OEM standards. The role also involves recording key measurements for failure analysis and improvement initiatives, troubleshooting operational problems with rotating equipment, and performing removal and installation of equipment, including alignment and testing. Participation in cross-functional teams to solve problems and increase plant availability, identifying appropriate spare parts, and precision assembly of complex equipment are also essential functions. The technician must be able to read blueprints or engineering drawings and machine specifications, holding tolerances within .0005”. Experience with balance machines is a plus.
