About The Position

The Millwright Maintenance Technician position is accountable for understanding and putting into practice the INEOS 20 Principles. This role requires the ability to safely work in a complex mechanical facility processing large quantities of flammable materials. The technician will participate in a behavior-based safety process and follow standard procedures to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and high-quality work. Key responsibilities include measuring mechanical parameters, comparing them to standards, and returning equipment to meet those standards. Recording key measurements is essential for facilitating failure analysis and developing improvement initiatives. The role involves troubleshooting operational problems associated with rotating equipment, including the removal and installation of equipment, alignment, and testing to ensure proper operation. Success in this role depends on working effectively in a team-oriented environment to accomplish daily work activities, participating in cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems to increase plant availability, and identifying appropriate spare parts for equipment. The ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs, and manuals is crucial, as is the precision assembly of complex gearboxes, pumps, compressors, blowers, airlocks, centrifuges, and specialized extruding equipment.
