Requirements

  • 5+ years of millwright experience with previous foreman or lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment installation, alignment, rigging, and machinery maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • OSHA 30
  • Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in active industrial environments
  • Ability to lift, climb, and work at heights as required
  • Precision alignment experience is required
  • Rigging and signaling certification is required, or willing to obtain it
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pharmaceutical, manufacturing, power, or heavy industrial facilities
  • Shutdown/turnaround project experience
  • Welding or fabrication experience

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising self-performing millwright crews on active jobsites
  • Leading and supervising subcontractor trades on active jobsites
  • Planning daily work activities and coordinating with Superintendents and Project Managers
  • Installing, dismantling, relocating, and aligning industrial equipment and machinery
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Coordinating rigging operations and equipment setting
  • Ensuring quality workmanship while maintaining production schedules
  • Enforcing all safety requirements and leading by example
  • Mentoring apprentices and journeymen while developing crew members
  • Communicating with owners, subcontractors, and project teams to keep work moving efficiently
