About The Position
Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an Apprentice Industrial Mechanic/Millwright in our Tillsonburg, Ontario stamping Facility. The Apprentice Industrial Mechanic/Millwright is responsible for supporting production and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior in a stamping environment experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Requirements
- Stamping equipment i.e. feed line systems experience is an asset
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
- Ability to travel between local facilities
Nice To Haves
- Enrolled in the Industrial Mechanic/ Millwright program
- 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
- Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook
