Millwork Journeyman
About The Position
EastCoast Builders is seeking a skilled Millwork Journeyman for its field operations. The role involves complex, high-end millwork installations requiring expertise in custom joinery, advanced assembly, and blueprint interpretation. The Journeyman may lead small project teams or oversee portions of larger projects, helping maintain workflow and meet deadlines. The position offers an opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects and to develop within a company that provides hands-on training and values craftsmanship, teamwork, and career growth. Prior experience with high-end commercial millwork projects is preferred; experience leading small teams or mentoring junior installers is a plus. The pay range is $35.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Execute complex millwork installations, including cabinetry, moldings, paneling, and custom joinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Lead small teams or oversee portions of larger projects to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Inspect tools, equipment, and work areas regularly, and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Inspect completed work to ensure precise alignments, smooth finishes, and structural integrity.
- Lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
