About The Position
Domtar Kingsport’s Packaging Mill is seeking a Mill Support employee. This is the mill’s entry-level position, intended for individuals motivated to learn, grow, and advance within a high-performance operation. The position is full-time and permanent, with starting pay of $21 or more per hour plus comprehensive benefits. The mill operates on a DuPont 12-hour rotating schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong aptitude for risk assessment and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements, including use of hard hats, ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, chemical suits, and steel-toe boots.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and to use ladders and lifts.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, noise, dust, and moisture.
Nice To Haves
