About The Position

The Mill Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the aggregate Mill. The role includes maintenance, equipment operation, loading bulk trucks, and supporting daily production activities. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-oriented, and self-motivated, and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment and work in a variety of conditions.

Requirements

Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Maintenance-oriented, with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Able to work safely in elevated areas and not afraid of heights.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Safety-oriented, with a commitment to following proper procedures.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
Comfortable working in heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Able to navigate tight areas, rapidly exit in an emergency, climb ladders, and sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mill equipment and systems.
Safely load bulk tank trucks and ensure accurate documentation of materials.
Operate machinery and heavy equipment, including skid steers and other mobile equipment.
Use hand and power tools to complete repairs, maintenance, and fabrication tasks.
Assist with facility upkeep, including tasks performed at elevated heights.
Work indoors and outdoors in inclement weather and temperature extremes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
Support production as needed to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
