About The Position

The Levy Group of Companies is hiring a Mill Service Manager for its Levy Brandenburg Mill Services location in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The role fosters relationships with mill stakeholders, oversees budgeting and planning, ensures product quality, and drives process improvements. The manager collaborates with teams, manages customer service, analyzes data, contributes to quality-system documentation, prioritizes safety, and supports the Operations Manager. Salary starts at $105,000 and is based on experience.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in an industrial or construction environment; steel mill experience is preferable.
• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and the ability to implement related programs and controls.
• Ability to understand financial data.
• Supervisory experience.
• Computer experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Some college or a degree is preferred.
• Steel mill experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with mill management, vendors, and operations management.
• Assist the Operations Manager in developing budgets and business plans.
• Ensure products and services meet customer specifications.
• Coordinate teams to identify process improvements.
• Review monthly budgets to manage costs.
• Assist with evaluating capital expenditures.
• Manage steel mill customer service needs and remain available to meet those needs.
• Run KPI reports, analyze data, and use findings to support decision-making.
• Assist with documenting quality-system procedures and policies.
• Provide reporting and recordkeeping as required.
• Be responsible for the safety of all mill crew personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
