About The Position

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Mill Services Manager for its Levy Brandenburg Mill Services location in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The role fosters relationships with mill stakeholders; oversees budgeting and planning; helps ensure product quality; and drives process improvements. The manager works with multiple teams, manages customer service needs, reviews operational data, contributes to quality-system documentation, prioritizes safety, and supports the Operations Manager. The position also includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in an industrial or construction environment.
• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and the ability to implement related programs and controls.
• Ability to understand financial data.
• Supervisory experience.
• Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Some college or a degree preferred.
• Steel mill experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with mill management, vendors, and operations management.
• Assist the Operations Manager in developing budgets and business plans.
• Ensure products and services meet customer specifications.
• Coordinate teams to identify process improvements.
• Review the monthly budget to manage costs.
• Assist with evaluating capital expenditures.
• Manage steel mill customer service needs and be available to address them.
• Run KPI reports, analyze data, and use the information to support decision-making.
• Assist with documenting quality-system procedures and policies.
• Provide reporting and recordkeeping as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Be responsible for the safety of all mill crew personnel.
