About The Position

This position is responsible for the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork. Additional duties include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and other related feed production duties, forklift operation and grain handling. The schedule is approximately Monday thru Thursday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Fridays 6:00 pm to 5:00 am with overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Understanding of safe working conditions and operations of vehicles.
• Willing and able to work well with others, to take and give constructive criticism, and to lend a helping hand.
• Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
• Driven, organized, and punctual.
• Must be team oriented.
• Possess great attention to detail.
• High School Diploma.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.
• Agriculture background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork.

• Operating scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understanding feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distributing feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operating equipment safely.
• Consistently following all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly completing necessary paperwork and records.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned.
