About The Position

This position is responsible for the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork. Additional duties include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and other related feed production duties, forklift operation and grain handling. The second shift runs approximately 4:00 pm to 2:00 am Monday through Friday, with some occasional weekends required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture livestock feed and complete all related paperwork.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Provide customer service.
• Perform grounds and equipment maintenance.
• Perform warehouse maintenance.
• Operate forklift and handle grain.
• Work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understand feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
