About The Position

Oakworks Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator for their Mill Department to create components for medical, spa, and massage tables. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines for routing wood and plastics. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated mechanical ability and an understanding of manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating. This is a full-time position with a second shift schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to use tape measure to validate quality.
• Ability to assemble electrical & mechanical components.
• Computer literacy.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk daily for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years work experience in Manufacturing or Specific Education or Training.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC machine for routing wood and plastics.
• Create components for medical, spa, and massage tables.
• Ensure quality of manufactured parts.
• Read drawings and use tape measure to validate quality.
• Assemble electrical & mechanical components.
• Be forklift certified within 90 days.
