About The Position

We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill Operator you will be responsible to: Run batches of ink at proper mill settings. Package/can finished product in various containers and apply labels Clean and maintain machine to TPM Standards Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities Operate Hockmeyer mills at optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times Operate the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift Act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data Complete scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures Help with repacks

Requirements

Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired
Have 3 months of work related experience
Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
Have attention to detail
Be reliable to work assigned shift
Be flexible to work overtime as required
Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
Have good attendance and punctuality
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

Forklift experience, but we can train you
Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
