About The Position

The primary requirements of the Drop Mill Operator are to cool off, properly mix and process compounds through the mill within allowable specifications. This role involves operating machinery safely and efficiently, maintaining quality control by monitoring production output, and identifying any issues with the product or process. The operator is responsible for correctly identifying the correct batch being milled and ensuring equipment like belts, pans, and knives are cleaned between compounds. Following all safety procedures and guidelines, and assisting in modifying and updating procedures, are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, operating a forklift for various functions is required.

Requirements

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
High School or GED preferred
Willing to work overtime including weekends
Close visual work required.
Knowledge of general computer skills.
Attention to detail.
