About The Position

The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio is searching for a MILCON Site Security Assistant to support NSIC/IN/S10 (GG-0080-12). This position is covered by the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS). This position is being filled as a DCIPS Term Appointment (DTA) to meet non-permanent staffing needs. The initial appointment will be for 5 years and may be extended in one-year increments based on mission needs and funding availability. This position will serve as the Site Security Assistant for construction of the Space Force Intelligence Facility. The ideal candidate for this position will possess SCIF/SAPF MILCON security experience, Physical Security experience including ICD705 training, knowledge of TEMPEST requirements and processes, knowledge and experience with SCIF/SAPF accreditations, experience leading large groups in daily tasks, strong communication skills, and a history of successfully balancing multiple requirements through to execution. DCSA CDSE SFPC and PSC certifications are highly desired. Ideal Candidate: Site Security Assistant to help Site Security manager in ensuring the construction site for new secure facility meets all accreditation requirements. Candidate will need to already possess SCIF/SAPF MILCON security experience, Physical Security experience including ICD705 training, and experience in accreditations.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret /SCI security clearance
• Designated for drug testing; incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
• Knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to review, analyze, and resolve very complex security problems due to SCIF implementation
• Knowledge of DoD and USSF antiterrorism and force protection doctrine, policies, and instructions
• Knowledge of security program relationships
• Knowledge of the required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices
• Knowledge of the intelligence enterprise
• Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing facts; drawing conclusions; devising solutions to problems; identifying changes and trends; and preparing and presenting information to leadership
• Ability to prioritize
• Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission
• SCIF/SAPF MILCON security experience
• Physical Security experience including ICD705 training
• Experience in SCIF/SAPF accreditations
• Experience leading large groups in daily tasks
• Strong communication skills
• History of successfully balancing multiple requirements through to execution
• Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) conferral is required within 2 years of the established employee EOD

Responsibilities
