About The Position

Partnership Academy (PA) is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher to join their team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional instruction in academic areas for middle school students with a wide variety of disabilities, with a primary focus on Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD). The special education teacher will case manage a maximum of 12 students, completing all necessary due process work, including progress notes and IEPs. PA fosters a highly collaborative culture where teachers work in teams to deliver differentiated and hands-on instruction. The school is committed to supporting educators in continuously improving their instruction to positively impact students' academic, linguistic, social, and emotional growth. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including speech/language pathologists, social workers, occupational therapists, classroom teachers, intervention teachers, and associate educators. The teacher will also be involved in collaborative teaching and mentoring systems of support. Key responsibilities include analyzing and adapting curriculum to align with Minnesota state standards and student IEPs, collecting and interpreting data to guide instruction, providing individualized instruction, partnering with families, and establishing a strong learning culture.

Requirements

  • Minnesota Teaching License (Required)

Responsibilities
