Special Education Teacher - Middle School
About The Position
SchoolHouse Staffing is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a middle school assignment for the 2026-2027 school year in Wickenburg, AZ (85390). This is a full-time, W-2 position paying $45.00-$55.00 per hour DOE, on a four-day school week, Monday through Thursday. SchoolHouse Staffing partners with school districts across Arizona to place special education professionals. In this role you will serve as the case manager for an assigned middle school caseload, write, implement, and monitor IEPs, and lead IEP meetings, deliver specialized instruction in a resource setting, collect and report progress-monitoring data, collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school administration, and comply with all district, state, and IDEA requirements for documentation and timelines.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate with a Cross-Categorical Special Education endorsement, or eligibility to obtain one before the assignment start date
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all district onboarding and health requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
