About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher in Dearborn, Michigan. The teacher provides specialized instruction and individualized support to high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and diverse learning needs. The role includes developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapting instruction to support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth. The teacher maintains a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes communication, independence, and engagement, and collaborates with school staff, related service providers, and families to monitor progress and address student needs.

The position offers pay of $48.20–$49.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with a K–12 Special Education endorsement.
• Cognitive Impairment (CI) endorsement.
