About The Position
Cardinal Shehan School in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a qualified, full-time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The teacher will provide students with a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum for grades 6-8. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, required.
- MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required.
- Proficient in using a variety of technology.

- Classroom teaching experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
- Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
- Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning.
- Maintains accurate and complete records of student's progress and development in a timely manner.
- Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.
