About The Position

The Associate Teacher role is designed for individuals new to the teaching profession, offering hands-on experience and a clear path to becoming a lead teacher. Associate Teachers will collaborate with experienced Lead Teachers as part of a grade-level team, gradually taking on more responsibility for lesson planning and instruction. They will receive ongoing professional development, frequent feedback, and coaching. Specific content areas and instructional roles will vary based on school needs and team structures.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as part of a grade-level team.
  • Work in collaboration with and under the guidance of experienced Lead Teachers.
  • Take on increasing responsibility for lesson planning and lead teaching as the year progresses.
