This position involves teaching middle school mathematics courses within a French immersion environment. The teacher will employ a variety of teaching methods to engage diverse learning styles and ability levels, preparing motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect curriculum knowledge, child development, and students' varying abilities. The role encourages an inclusive classroom that accepts different perspectives and backgrounds, nurturing globally minded students. Effective communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators is essential, as is the utilization of assessments and student data to inform instruction. The teacher will create a positive and engaging learning environment with clear expectations for classwork, homework, and assessments, fostering a culture of literacy and inquiry through current literature and resources that support critical thinking.
