About The Position

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School seeks a faith-filled, enthusiastic, and dedicated educator to serve as a Middle School Math and Religion Teacher for students in grades 7-8. The successful candidate will inspire students to achieve academic excellence in mathematics while fostering spiritual growth through the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a positive, engaging classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, strong moral character, and a love of learning. Must complete a Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging standards-based mathematics instruction for middle school students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Utilize data to inform instructional decisions and monitor student progress.
• Prepare students for success in advanced mathematics courses.
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences into instruction.
• Teach Catholic doctrine, scripture, prayer, sacraments, and moral formation in accordance with diocesan curriculum standards.
• Foster a classroom culture rooted in Gospel values and Catholic identity.
• Lead students in daily prayer and liturgical celebrations.
• Encourage students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and actively participate in their faith community.
