About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking part-time elementary school teachers for its new location in Mechanicsburg, PA, for the 2026-2027 academic year. The available grades may include 2nd, 3rd, or 5th Grade. This role is within a classical and Catholic classroom environment. Regina Caeli Academy is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors receive training on instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith daily, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Requirements

• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.

• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
• Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 3, 4, and 5, 2026.
