Middle School Lunch and After School Teacher
About The Position
The Middle School Lunch and After School Teacher is a member of the Lunch and After School Team, which supports the day-to-day operations of the campus. The role supervises middle and high school students in indoor and outdoor settings, provides tutoring and homework help, and helps maintain a safe learning environment. The position also involves collaborating with faculty and staff and performing light cleanup, including sweeping, wiping down tables, and removing trash. This is a full-time position at Stratford School’s San Jose campus, with hours Monday through Friday from 10:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. The pay range is $19.00–$22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to connect with a variety of colleagues and students.
- Ability to perform the essential duties, with reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to often carry and lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend.
- Ability to hear and use clear vision, with or without correction.
