About The Position
The Lunch and Extended Day Teacher supports the day-to-day operations of the campus by supervising elementary students during meals and extended-day activities. The role includes indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and snacks, while maintaining a safe learning environment for students. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM. Pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour. Career advancement opportunities are available.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to connect with a variety of colleagues and students.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with children.
Responsibilities
- Monitor student behavior during meal service.
- Plan and organize after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
- Assist students with homework.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff members.
- Safely supervise and care for students.
- Perform light sweeping, wipe down tables, and remove trash.
