About The Position

St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School (SSSAS) seeks passionate, innovative educators to teach and support middle school students during an important period of academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. The school is grounded in Episcopal values and aims to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where members of its diverse community are valued and respected.

Teachers guide students by building strong relationships, fostering curiosity, resilience, and empathy, and creating engaging, age-appropriate learning challenges. They teach courses in English, History, Math, Languages, or Social Studies and contribute to curriculum design, student projects, interdisciplinary learning, student leadership, and extracurricular activities. SSSAS also offers signature programs including Bonding Trip, MiniCourses, and Saints Got Talent.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of middle school teaching experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong foundation in curriculum design, instruction, and differentiated learning.
• Deep understanding of human development, particularly during the middle school years.
• Expertise in the relevant subject area.

• Master's degree.
