About The Position

Clark Middle School is seeking a dedicated educator to work as a full-time temporary middle school teacher. The teacher will inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment, supporting their academic growth and personal development. The role involves creating an inclusive classroom that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love of learning. The position runs from November 2026 through May 26, 2027, and is located at Clark Middle School.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Valid Indiana teaching license with an elementary endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and adapted to diverse learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, projects, classroom participation, and other methods.
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and community.
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to support student learning and address individual needs.
• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and performance records, and regularly communicate with parents about student progress.
• Manage classroom behavior and implement school policies and procedures to maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Foster students’ critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through innovative teaching strategies and activities.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and committees as required.
