Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent in experience
  • Minimum four or more years of experience in Direct Sales
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Up to 25% travel

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Midmarket Customers and solidifying customer relationships through regular and frequent face-to-face interactions designed to drive sales growth, including attendance at industry events, trade shows, and conferences relevant to the customer base.
  • Proactively developing, utilizing, and increasing expertise with the Customer’s particular industry to advise, consult, and support Customers on best and next practices in utilization and expansion of services.
  • Developing and maintaining a “greenspace” heatmap and running strategic and appropriate sales campaigns to drive pipeline and ultimately bookings in assigned accounts.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on HCM, Payroll solutions, and services aligned with the prospective customer’s needs.
  • Maintaining advanced working knowledge of products and capabilities, incorporating technical advances in presentations to end users.
  • Developing and maintaining an Annual Account Plan and Relationship Map for each assigned account collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Building strong executive relationships (CHRO, CIO, CFO, COO, etc.) across the account by leveraging the sales management team, UKG executive sponsors, and in-person meetings and interactions.
  • Ensuring highly positive customer experiences through existing relationships as transitioned from previous account team or services teams.
  • Conducting at least 1 in-person (or virtual if necessary) business review with the customer annually covering adoption, support, and roadmap content. Business reviews should include advice and consultation to the customer regarding HR challenges and integration of UKG products, focusing on “Innovation” by sharing new product offers and product innovation with an effort toward sales.
  • Increasing customer engagement and participation in high-quality experiences by driving attendance for Aspire at all levels of the client, from Executive to Administrator levels.
  • Collaborating with Field Marketing to invite customers and regional partners to appropriate regional events and conducting at least 2 regional events per quarter that combine Networking and UKG or Industry engagement.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Marketing team to establish customer references and identify individuals to nominate for Insider and Exec Advisory programs as appropriate.
  • Monitoring account concerns through partnerships with assigned technical resources on customer needs, sentiment, challenges, and adoption, and partnering for solutions that improve customer satisfaction and experience when necessary.
  • Proactively monitoring the health of customer accounts, identifying risks, and collaborating on Save Plans with appropriate teams to facilitate the execution of the plan.
  • Maintaining accuracy of account Contacts and Account Sentiment in SFDC, including a Rolling 4 Quarter Pipeline in SFDC for all accounts and engaging on all assigned marketing qualified leads within 24 hours of assignment.
