About The Position
The Capital Markets Department is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Charlotte office. Candidates should have experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents related to commercial mortgage loan securitizations, including pooling and servicing agreements, offering documents, mortgage loan purchase agreements, certificate purchase agreements, placement agency agreements, legal opinions and related contracts. Candidate should have experience managing the closing process for complex transactions. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, teamwork, a solid work ethic, and a proactive sense of ownership over their responsibilities.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Capital Markets, Securities & Public Company Advisory, Agency CMBS Securitizations.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents related to commercial mortgage loan securitizations, including pooling and servicing agreements, offering documents, mortgage loan purchase agreements, certificate purchase agreements, placement agency agreements, legal opinions and related contracts.
- Experience managing the closing process for complex transactions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Teamwork.
- A solid work ethic.
- A proactive sense of ownership over their responsibilities.
- A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Member of the Bar in the United States.
