Mid level Software Engineer

Verisign is seeking a Middle or Senior level software engineer to join their team as a Productivity and Efficiency Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on productivity and automation, proficiency in programming languages, and a willingness to learn. They should possess a solid understanding of core Computer Science concepts and have hands-on experience with automation, continuous delivery, and building task-specific tools. The candidate will be responsible for improving engineers' productivity through the development and implementation of productivity-enhancing solutions, collaborating with various teams within the organization. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 5-6 years of practical work experience, although other career paths will also be considered.

• Experience with common modules for Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with common Docker images
• Experience with static code analyzers and their rule configurations
• Experience with automated or by-design system compliance
• Experience with tools for monitoring, preventing, and resolving production issues
• Familiarity with feature and performance code testing approaches
