Mid-Level Modeling and Simulation Analyst
About The Position
Torch Technologies Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support its Air & Missile Business Unit. The role involves high-fidelity modeling, simulation, and analysis of integrated defense systems, providing modeling and simulation analytical support, and offering feedback to customers when needed. The analyst will help develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools, participate in technical interchange meetings, program reviews, and integration and test working groups, and support meetings by preparing analyses and reports. The position is customer-site based with no telework option. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel is 0–10%.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in integrated defense systems analysis.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong presentation skills, and the ability to brief diverse audiences effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt to different audiences and produce clear, concise reports and materials.
- Ability to analyze detailed technical information and develop logical solutions within specified schedules.
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment and taking on various roles as needed.
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills with team members, leadership, and customers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
